Tasty Trivia Quiz Mistress

In 2020 Annie Fitzpatrick (nee Foord) decided to combine her two enduring loves – food & trivia to create TASTY TRIVIA the deliciously interactive food & drink quiz.   

Annie has been working with the hospitality/food/wine industry since 1990. After gaining a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Hospitality Management in 1989 she enjoyed many opportunities all around Australia gaining expertise across every facet of hospitality.  

In 1992 Annie was offered the role of launching the now famous Seafood School at the Sydney Fish Market, to the general public in order to create a revenue stream for the Market. She successfully fulfilled that project and was credited with positioning the School and Sydney Fish Market as one of Sydney’s major food destinations. In 1996 the role of Marketing Manager was created to enable Annie to work with all segments of the fishing industry. During this time, she launched the inaugural Seafood Awards and instigated all-night trading at the Market during the Easter and Christmas periods.  

In 2005 Annie was recognised for her outstanding services to food education and inducted into the Foodies Hall of Fame by Fairfax’s (the) Sydney Magazine.  

Annie subsequently went on to establish her own food, wine & hospitality marketing communications consultancy and in 1998 she successfully completed projects for –Australian Dairy Corporation, Australian Specialist Cheesemakers’ Association, Destination NSW, Good Taste magazine and Gourmet Safaris, OzHarvest along with quality, artisan food producers.   

Annie has been cooking since she was old enough to light a stove and has eaten her way through 50 countries. She has been fortunate to have lived and worked in many Australian locations as well as in England and the Middle East.
